IMHO, its a marketing ploy rather than a matter of optimism. A way to try and keep 'em from grabbing something available NOW, like a 7800 or a FTdx9000 while TT is stuck with NOTHING to offer. Bill K

Aren't they sold out of Orions now? They went out of production a while back IIRC. TT stuck with nothing to offer? You have got to be kidding, I have had an OI for almost 2 years! What a great radio!
