- I seem to recall that the Omni VI+ has 6 volts lamps which work with a dimmer, typically at 5V. The power supply (Tentec) outputs 13.8. Yes, 14 volt lamps are the correct choice for a 13.8V supply. B

- I find that most 12V radios typically don't work reliably on 12V. They really require about 13 to 15 volts. This is kinda like the days when we referred to the household voltage of 110 or 220 volts.

- Not true! My Omni VI+ has a relay that goes "click" when in CW and is first keyed. It the drops out at the end of the keying sequence. It's the keying relay for external stuff. This is K1 on the Cont
