Bill... You can locate the low-value that is currently the blocking capacitor in series with the RIT varactor (voltage variable capacitor) and, say, double its value. It's probably around 5 to 10 pf.

One other thing, Art. If it happens that a filter pin is loose in its receptacle, it can be tightened by squeezing the pin *very gently* with pliers, so it becomes slightly flattened. Then re-insert.
