The last time I checked, the SO2R Mini device does not support Linux. It requires a Windows program to operate. The issue is that logging programs expect two different serial devices- one for Winkey,

I have been using the regular yccc boxes here. And I got the mini to have something smaller to use for traveling. But never got around to hooking it up and trying it with trlinux. I was thinking the
