Jim, this is well known bug in auto -cq mode. Do not use speeds up/down in auto-cq. Just press the button manually. and the time, send has original faster actually the be and never up at notice. comm

I gather from inputs received off-line that this problem has been around for a while. I did fix it, sort of. I found that putting some extra CTRL-S characters ahead of the portion which I wanted sent
