I just tried to create a cabrillo file with 6.72 and got a message that it could not open the file. I can open it with my text editor and it looks OK. Does anyone have any suggestions? Thanks Cal

I need to build a cable to sent CW only, without an amplifier. I don't think I need the PTT out cable for this. In the TR manual it says that some radio interfaces may require jumper for DB-9 serial:

I am trying to send cw via the PC and TR for the first time. No luck so far. Radio is Knwd 570 and PC runs W98. I run TR in a DOS window from the MSDOS prompt in W98. My config file is: MY CALL = N9K

Thanks to everyone who responded. there were 2 problems. 1) The collector and base were touching in my cable. 2) It works only if I reboot W98 in DOS mode, not with a MSDOS window within W98.
