I am a first time user of SD and I have downloaded V14.14. CW sounds OK with sidetone ON, but with sidetone OFF the CW to the rig is VERY slow (max about 20 wpm when the speed is set to max [70 wpm])

Thanks Alex, but it didn't work. CW is OK with sidetone ON, but very very slow with sidetone OFF. PRIORITY and CALIBRATE don't have any effect. Danny, G3XVR __________________________________________

PRIORITY and CALIBRATE don't have any effect. Try using a text editor (Notepad perhaps) to edit your SD.INI file. Look for the SD_CALWIN parameter, and then change it to one quarter of the present va

Hi Paul. SD_CALWIN is about 8000 or 9000. If I edit it down to about 2000 with notepad, save the settings then restart SD the CW is still extremely poor with sidetone OFF but OK with sidetone ON. It
