Now here's the weird part. I configured MMTTY and the K3S to use the USB sound interface built into the K3S, and that works fine with AFSK. I left the serial cable connected. However, when I transmit

The StarTech ICUSB2324X uses the TI TUSB3410 chipset. The TUSB3410 datasheet <http://www.ti.com/product/TUSB3410/datasheet> indicates support for data rates 50 BPS to 921.6 kbps. It will not work wit

I have to start out by saying that I am not familiar with that Startech box, but if you are using a desktop, you may want to consider installing a serial card. When computers stopped coming with seri

(NOTE: FSK RTTY with this hardware combination does *NOT* work with DM780!) The other serial port does work with CW on N1MM+, CWType and even DM780. DM780 is "brain dead" when it comes to FSK in that

I don't have any experience with that particular adapter. Until now I've always used a 4 port UART board in the desktop as someone described earlier. However, I'm considering getting rid of the deskt

Kim, This sounds like a configuration problem and not hardware. Do you have the radio on Com 5, and also trying to configure Com 5 for FSK/PTT? If I'm correct, then MMTTY can't open the port because
