Does anyone have a lead on when RTTY was first used for Amateur Radio purposes? There's a fair amount of historical info out there but so far I haven't come across anything about when it actually cam

Well, in "A Phone Of Their Own", mention is made that W6NRM was copying RTTY and petioned the FCC for "radioteletype operation on a broader range of frequencies" in January 1951. W6NRM was Robert H.
