I've a PK232MBX that seems to be "stuck" in wordout being on, even though it (dumb terminal mode) claims that the parameter is turned off; and I've set it to off in the dumb terminal. I tried turning

Good tip from K9MI. I keep forgetting about the hole in the bottom and just force it out with the Command-C's from a term program. The only problem with pulling the jumper is you loose your settings.
