John, As far as I know, rather than the older MULTITERM software from BMK Multi, there was nothing other than RITTY that did PACTOR-1. RITTY removed PACTOR-1 in later releases. In any event, PACTOR-2

I use an old MFJ 1278 TNC here. Have three but only one will run Pactor. Not sure where the dividing line is, but have made several Pactor qso's with that TNC...you can usually find them at hamfest.

No, they are the same problem ... PACTOR lacks a competent "Channel Busy" detector to prevent the modem from transmitting if there is any activity on the frequency. The problem could resolved 100% if
