I was the 40 meter SSB operator at KC1XX in this weekend's ARRL DX SSB contest. Scheduling a RTTY contest the same weekend as an international phone contest is a poor decision, IMO. The QRM from RTTY

Seems to me that the organizers of the Makrothen would have been fully aware that on this particular weekend, the two contests would clash. Especially on 40 meters.. and IMHO it was a very poor choic
