Andy, The point is as you said, "this is an examinations of ... one particular model and does not represent any others." The "clean up" you see is due entirely to the Elecraft's unique AFSK filter. B

I've never had any complaints but often wondered how good is the FSK Keying circuit in the Kenwood TS-2000. I've never run anything other than FSK so I can utilize the receive filters. Tnx. & 73, Tom
