Phil, it wasn't me as I didn't spot anyone. but Could this have happened? Say w9ol is cqing on 7060 and I see a spot for yw0dx on 7040 I jump to that spot, work him, and then using the F12 key, jump

Hi Bill, No! It was definitely a ploy to get me to move to that frequency and work them. It failed too, as I did not fall for that trick, but it was most annoying on 40m in the midst of a nice run. T

I noticed something similar. I saw a few times that I was spotted by watching my bandmap. Then I saw a spot for me come out 5 or so KHz away from where I was operating. I never checked to see who was
