The MicroHam is a little slower, just slightly. It is because it loads into a buffer and then is sent. At least that is my feeble understanding. The only time this would make any difference would be

I use a label maker that you can buy something similar at the office supply stores. Print the label and fold it back on itself over the wire. I also use wire tags sometimes, which are nylon wire ties

I am no longer using the edgeport for fsk keying. I now use a MicroHam MK II. But originally I did use it for FSK keying. I did not use EXTFSK. If I remember correctly I am pretty sure it was off TxD
