There is more to it than just what the macros contain - if and how they can be joined is just as important. Writelog lets me join macros by pressing a second macro key before the first has completed.

No - not editing on the fly - assembling the transmitted string from several macros on the fly. If my f2 has "HISCALL 599 05 05 SC SC " and my f4 has " W4UK " and my f5 has HISCALL, I have the choice

Anybody trying this- don't forget to put one space at the start and one at the end of each macro, then you can string them as needed. Only downside is you will get two spaces within the concatenated
