- Last night about 2330Z VK9CG showed up on 20 Meter RTTY. Signal was pretty good but then everyone told me to go LongPath, WOW longpath signal was up to S-7 and copy was like a local. VK9C, COCOS-KEEL

- I think that from the start the RU has be thought as a "State Side" contest. Guys know that with a dipole/verticle and 100 watts or less they can work most guys in the contest. Sorta like Fieldday. I
