- WalMart sells GE and the last ones I bought are the newer slimline base and are actually pretty darn bright. And the lifetime seems pretty good at 5 days! (so far) ;-) http://www.walmart.com/search/

- Yes, but keep in mind that this paper is 10 years old. I have noticed locally that the selection of incandescent bulbs at the big-box stores here (Wisconsin) is much less than it was only a year ago.
