- Hello All: For many years I?ve had horrible RFI buzz in all AM radios in the house. The noise is also S9 on all of my HF receivers on 80/75 meters and about s5 on 40 meters. Higher HF freqs are noisy

- Well folks - the results are in.....drum roll please-=-=-=-=-=-=-=- It was the alarm system for sure. Killed all primary and secondary power to the system this evening and guess what I found out? 75

- The alarm system is not that new, it was installed in 1992 when we moved here. Unfortunately, I own the hardware, even though they sold it and installed it. The alarm co. provides monthly monitoring
