I'm wondering if anyone has seen an RFI source like this before? * At isolated (and generally short) periods, the RFI is gone. * It has two modes... * Mode A - like the pattern from my first RFI Hunt

This morning I noticed a very strange new RFI source on 20m. The signal repeats every 25 KHz across the band (above and below as well) and drift slowly lower in frequency over time. I've posted a WAV

Its still there from CM87... about 300 Hz lower in frequency but same pattern. Peaks bearing 100 degrees from my location. Sounds samples and panadaptor shots provided to ARRL Intruder Watch. Stu K6T

Try using this configuration but with a capacitor to tune it into a parallel circuit and then couple it with a HiZ transformer - about 50 turns of 28 ga on a FT50-61 will get you close to a match int

Gary, The switchers will generate RFI regardless of whether pulling current or not however, expect the RF signature to change somewhat under load depending on the design of the unit. My experience is
