(edited) I've run across a signal on 40M that has me puzzled.  It is centered at 7049.8 KHZ, as best I can tell.  Because this reflector doesn't accept images, I have put an HDSDR image in Dropbox wi

Curiouser and curiouser. Today, from roughly 1500Z to 2200Z, this signal was present, and fairly strong, at 50 KHz intervals across 40 meters - 7000, 7050, 7100, 7150.  Structure was the same, with w

While I wait for the preamp needed to use my WD8DSB portable flag to pin it down, I thought RFI readers might be interested in some more data. The signal is present every 50 KHz from approximately 50

Hi Scott - I should have mentioned that.  As far as I can tell, each of the frequencies is very stable.  When I finally find it, this is going to be a weird one! 73, Pete N4ZR Check out the new Rever

Yes, I have been watching at startup, using HDSDR, and I can tell you that the waterfall lines for each of the signals are absolutely straight from the first second.  I'd say drift is less than 10 Hz

Hi Don - thanks for all your hand-holding.  Finished mine today and it works fine.  I used 1" PVC pipe for the arms, and screwed them to either side of a 1X6.  I figured the 3/4" offset wouldn't matt

For what it might be worth in terms of "where to look", I discovered today that my Ryobi 18v hand drill charger and the charger for an older Black and Decker electric screwdriver were both generating
