The World Above 50 MHz column in this month's QST (February) QST has a table listing the VHF-low DTV stations, post-transition. There will be a total of 38; channel 5 is most popular with 13 stations

I'm assuming that a "big Farad cap" is a colloquial name for an electric double layer (aka electrochemical) capacitor <http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Electric_double_layer_capacitor> AFAIK, Hybrid® Cap

No. The cap is of no benefit for the dynamic load application Because of its relatively high equivalent series resistance, an electrochemical capacitor cannot discharge quickly enough to help supply
