- Hank: I believe the swr fluctuation is normal. Wish we could just turn it off. My analog wattmeter is always quite steady in that regard......I would not worry about it. In Tune, the Orion puts out 2

- The power jitter is a known problem. (To some of us users - I don't know what Ten-Tec knows!) It's mostly (entirely?) a measurement problem in the Orion. See info & videos at http://www.aa6e.net/aa6e

- I fixed the problem. Put a small piece of black electrical tape over the swr area and it won't bother you any longer. But, taking the tape off to see the display in rx mode messes up qsk timing. Mayb

- I agree. But Ten Tec has always been performance and fit and finish secondary-the OmniVI a case in point. Here we are 2 years into the Orion and firmware upgrades are fixes for the most part instead

- There is a lot of 'jitter' in the Orion, just look at the leading edge of a CW waveform with a scope. But it's interesting that even with the constant one to four millisecond leading edge jitter, and
