I just checked that Bob...The speaker and headphones muting etc. work all ok if I just set down and plug/unplug the phones just to test this problem. The problem only manifests itself after using the

I had precisely the same thing happen to me. I spent several hours trying to find the problem (even did a master reset) and had about given up. I figured I would have to return the radio for repair.
