I got the Studio One mike when I ordered the ORION and although I don't get into DX pileups, I do get the occasional compliment on the good audio, without any solicitations. I don't have the SSB band

Joe I use the Heil Gold mike with my ORION, and I use the Ten Tec mike cord. the Ten Tec cord has the shell grounded at each end. The heil cord does not. When I ordered my ORION, I told Scott Robbins
