Author: Duane A Calvin <ac5aa@juno.com>

I'm confused. I'm waiting for my Orion to arrive, and getting the setup ready, including FSK from my HAL DXP-38. Running FSK on my Omni VI+, the RX is in LSB mode (rig is in FSK), regardless of band,

Quick question for the learned group -- in RX, regardless of how little signal is present, the S-meter stays a tad over S1. In transmit, with no output, it goes to zero, but as soon as it switches ba

I wrote the other day that the Orion I used a few months ago had no RFI problem with a standard Heil ProSet with the Heil-made Ten-Tec adapter. Well, I received my own Orion last night (yay!) and fou

Hello Milan, I'm using DX4WIN with my Orion. It works properly, as you note. If the DX station is working simplex, then your rig will be set with VFO A on his freq, and both RX and TX assigned to it.

Gary, I think it's the QSK delay parameter that causes the Orion to not signal the Centaur to key until the delay has passed. So, it keys and stays keyed sort of like the old "slow QSK" on some rigs.
