- Jeff, I use the LPT port with my laptop, but like a desktop. Laptops are no different that desktops in this regard. Never had a problem with it in fixed/portable setups (DXpeditions, Field Day, etc.)

- I agree with Tyler about using the WIN.BAT file to trap the Win95 startup process and stay in DOS. I have my Dell P-200 laptop set up that way. I also have two more batch files, one called GOWIN.BAT
