we are using karlnet but not much of rip.....only where we've used karlnet as a microcell and not wanted to create static routes (yes, I'm lazy) It really shouldn't matter much what dynamic routing p

Well my problem is this If you put a default router IP on the karlnet unit, how does a RIP update replace that? for example, my default router is say 192.168.1.1, but that link goes down, and now RIP

You leave the default router blank and make sure that somewhere in the upstream chain the proper default-information originate option is enabled. RIP will then propagate a default route in the networ
