You have this problem too? :-) It seems to be interference from the radio not the antenna. Some units are better than others, we find RGs the worst. The key is to put the radio into something shield

Maybe it is an MTU issue? If so, it is unlikely to be related to Karlnet. Are you using PPPoE or some kind of VPN or tunnel that might reduce the available MTU? It's a long shot, but this could cause

Yes, I already use Mikrotik and that is plan b in this case... The site is solar powered and I therefore have limited power. It would have been easy to just use the Kalrnet gear that is already there
