Does anyone know if Avaya silver cards can be used with the Karlnet Linux client? If so, how? I've got loads of spare Avaya cards and want to find a use for them... Cheers. Paul _____________________
Yes, but 'support it' is another issue. My experiences of Karlnet linux driver support have not been good. I get the impression they may see Linux support as a bit of a threat to their other (more ex
Has Karlnet actually written the software to do the upgrade yet? I thought this was a future feature - 'coming soon'. I suspect this is currently a factory only upgrade. Paul _______________________
You have this problem too? :-) It seems to be interference from the radio not the antenna. Some units are better than others, we find RGs the worst. The key is to put the radio into something shield
Hi All, I'm going through my anual rethink and wondering how best to deal with the growth of our wireless network. We have several POPs - about a dozen or so with varying numbers of clients connected
Thanks for the update Kevin. I hope you don't mind me giving my 2 cents worth. I have tested a lot of different wireless solutions and I think Karlnet still has the best solution out there. However,
We have quite a few of these on our network and most work without any major problems. This issue appears to be intermitant or perhaps some boards are just faulty. We had our first 'lemon' the other d

Can anyone at Karlnet give us an update on progress with this? Do you want everyone who is suffering from it to report it directly to you? I haven't bothered to report our problems as clearly others
Hi All, I seem to recall Reg at Karlnet stating at a presentation that you could set the AP to a higher speed and set each client at any rate you like. I think that the AP talks to the client at what
Anybody know if you can bridge and route on the same radio (KN200 in this rather bizarre case :-))? If so, please can you share the config? Turning on routing seems to automatically deny bridging of
Yes, I already use Mikrotik and that is plan b in this case... The site is solar powered and I therefore have limited power. It would have been easy to just use the Kalrnet gear that is already there
Hi Jayson, Are you sure that everything is on different network IDs? Perhaps TC is getting confused about what to connect to? Hope this helps. Cheers, Paul __________________________________ Do you Y
