for POE on the RG's i usually use a 12vDC supply. I think they are 1A. the included 9v supplies just don't cut it when the power cable length exceeds about 20'. ______________________________________

Uhh... can the KN-205 take 48vDC? I think you have to feed it with the proper polarity or you'll have issues. You probably shorted out the board when connecting the "grounded" antenna lead. Hi All, W

Hmm, well...if it'll run off 48vDC, I'd switch the polarity to what it wants and then test again. Although, I've dealt w/ rectifiers that had problems when I connected the antenna cable to an orinoco
