I don't think there is a "standard" per-se. The serial number field was recently enlarged from 4 to 5 digits (characters), that accounts for the change you saw. CT takes the space between the fields

There is a bug in CT which has tripped up a couple of people. If your callsign in CT contains a portable (i.e. K1JB/VE9), CT will be UNABLE to generate the Cabrillo output file. The output file name
