The way I look at this, other than the WRTC2018 event itself, WRTC does not assign points on its own. That is, they depend on other contest organizers, such as WPX, to assign points and determine if

I understood that the deadline missed was the one for awards and not the deadline for contest entry. If my understanding of two different deadlines is wrong, I can peacefully crawl back into my hole.
