I never log /qrp and wish people would stop sending it! I'm very happy to work the QRP ops, but sending /qrp just slows things down in my point of view. Always impressed with the good QRP signals on

Why is it sent? I never hear anyone sending /LP or /QRO. Tom W7WHY Hal: Get an extra power connector or cable for the rig. Then get 2 battery holders, each for 4 "AA" cells. Attach the battery holder

Probably because LP and QRO stations are more ubiquitous (both individually and combined as a group) than QRP stations. Perhaps QRP stations see this "rareness" as some sort of advantage and want to
