I'm skeptical about that, Mike - my peak time spent in a contest was CQWW back on the early 2000s, at about 37 hours.  I have trouble doing half that now - not the way to win, even if I had a station

Pete. Totally agree we should recognize real seniors. With a penalty, say one percent deduction in score, per year over age 70. That way the rest of us will have a chance to compete against you guys

The ARRL contests now have an overlay for just wires.  In addition, the ARRL Digital Contest has an overlay as well for "enclosed antennas", if  you are having to use only indoor antennas. 73 John AF
