23% of my contacts in last weekend's CQWW RTTY contest were with my own country. I worked ZF1A for 2 points and W0YK, who was twice as far away as ZF, for 1 point. This is much better than zero point

The problem with SV is that there are not many stations in the other continents to work them! Possibly less than 10 (1-2 5B, 2-3 4X, 3V, CN and 1-2 Africa expeditions). Really we have not any chance

I am all for the "everybody works everybody" rule that the CQWW RTTY has, especially since we run into so many US people in the contest that don't know that you can only work DX, and will answer you

It is interesting that in the ARRL DX contest, US stations cannot work Canada which is a separate country from the US, but we can work Alaska and Hawaii, which are both part of the US. Not exactly a
