This is a 'no-brainer'. Why buy used..??.. A new Icom 706 MKll is less than your target figure. You can even add a CW filter and still be under your target price and you get a new radio w/warranty. 7

If you want strictly "Used" with no 6m, I bought my TS-870S rigs each for about $900 via Ebay. IMHO, check for loose change in the couch, etc. and come up with about $30+ more and buy yourself a **NE

Zack, I agree, it's a great RIG for its price and time... until you get "........." on your display, like 8P5A right before the recent ARRL CW... Then you have to ovrhaul the whole PLL board. Regards
