I participated in the ARRL 160 this past weekend. Conditions were pretty bad and I didn't hit it real hard, mostly I ran. 25% or more of my contacts were far (really far!) from zero beat. This seems

I probably should have titled my post differently. I agree that not everybody should be dead on zero beat when calling, especially in a big pile-up. K0AV, K9YC and K9MA make valid points . You at lea
