Personally...I don't care for cut-numbers in any contest. In my opinion...if the exchange as specified in the rules calls for a number then send a number...not a T or N or whatever. -- Jeff Embry, K3
Chris, I totally agree. Most of my contesting is done QRP...with the exception of when I am at a Multi-op or visting a station. I have NEVER added the /QRP to my call. It just seems to be a waste of
Dick, Having watched this thread for some time now...I will say this. Compete in a manner that you enjoy and have FUN. At least that is what I try and do and so far that method has served me well. -7
Randy, Well put....and ditto on chasing new technology. It is getting to where the chase just distracts from the FUN. 73, -- Jeff Embry, K3OQ FM19je ARCI #11643, FPQRP #-696, QRP-L # 67, NAQCC #25, A
Pete, I totally agree. I am/was planning a casual entry primarily for the club competition. I am/was palanning to do single band QRP. However after reading the rules...inparticular this: 11.12 Partic

I have to say I agree with Pete on this one. Plaques are a different matter....but with my station, I am in it for fun and if a cert comes my way....GREAT. I am not expecting a plaque any time soon.

Randy, You have hit on the most important aspect. As long as one has fun in the category of their choosing all is good. 73es, Jeff K3OQ -- Jeff Embry, K3OQ FM19nb ARCI #11643, FPQRP #-696, QRP-L # 67
I have to say this thread is getting old. If you don't want to use RBN...DON'T. If you do, then by all means do. Above all have fun...and if there is an error...then perhaps listening to make sure is
