I do SO2R only in SSB as I am not good enough in CW. But if I find a mult and canīt get it quickly with one or two calls I put in in my band map and then I need only to click on it next time. 73 Pete
DL3TU only antennas are 10-40m. 73 Peter --Original Message-- From: CQ-Contest [mailto:cq-contest-bounces@contesting.com] On Behalf Of Don Field Sent: Montag, 11. Mai 2015 13:37 To: donovanf@starpowe
Pedro is consistently one of the strongest stations on the low bands here in Germany, he certainly would detect any problem with his 160m antenna and for sure a 25db loss. 73 Peter Yes, we need more
Mark, what exactly is your problem? I am European as well... By the way, all successful qrp operation is depending on the listener site. 73 Peter --Original Message-- From: CQ-Contest [mailto:cq-cont
Why donīt you ask the station for its call before returning with your exchange? 73 Peter What happens when I come across a pile up and the station is not signing his call. I call him get a 599 08 and
I have no problem to do SO2R at 100W without filters. With my second antenna about 100m away and much lower then the main yagis I can do it even in the same band. 73 Peter Has anyone ever done SO2R w
I would bring one of the feed lines first into the shack and then out to the switch. Then you might make use of an adjustable or switched phase shift unit to avoid pattern distortion and gain impact.
Contesting is that what you do yourself in a contest. I donīt use databases nor an automated station, until a year ago for a band change I still had to swap the coax cables and I still have to switch
Which years happened that? Canīt find those top 10 winners with their single 80m antenna in the result listings... 73 Peter Look to history results of WAE. To win SOp You must win Lithuania first! I
It doesnīt look as any of them used just a single 80m dipole 73 Peter Definitely, He meant Multi single Eu competition either 1979 where first three positions were taken by Lithuanians http://www.dar
Itīs hard to believe. Are you sure it was not a doublet with a tuner for all band use? 73 Peter --Original Message-- From: CQ-Contest [mailto:cq-contest-bounces@contesting.com] On Behalf Of Saulius Z
We all know that the number of qtc is more important then the number of qsos. But as I see in the pdf you were not active on 80m only as expected. And the 80m multiplier points are just a third of th
That shorted stub cut for 20m has to be installed on the 20m station (station B) to suppress 40 and 15 there. On the 40m station (station A)you will need an open stub cut for 20m to suppress 20 and 1
Sorry it has to be the other way round, open stub at the 20m station, shorted stub at the 40m station, I mixed it up while writing. 73 Peter That shorted stub cut for 20m has to be installed on the 2
That stub is to stop interference from 20m, not to block 40m interference on rig B! Against 40m qrm you will need that halfwave open stub (tuned for the 40m qrg) on rig B. 73 Peter So, vy late last n
I donīt find that rule for late WPX logs, neither in the qualification criteria nor in the selection policies for WRTC 2018. 73 Peter --Original Message-- From: rrdxa-bounces@mailman.qth.net [mailto:
NO! Stations who can not afford station automation are without chance then. And the number of "thanks" and "qrz" callers will raise. 73 Peter I am not sure where the prohibition against asking to be
What do you mean with "in the contest"? 73 Peter It isn't about ME, Hans, it's about the thousands of contesters outside the favored geography, many of them my neighbors. It isn't even about winning,
Will this ever stop? They did lose in M2X. They then checked 3830 and switched to MM, which they won. Hope they enjoy their consolation prize. _______________________________________________ CQ-Conte
CR3L had 3 operators less then PJ2T. Even DR1A without that 3 pointer advantage has beaten both stations in M/M in the past (2011). Without enough operators you canīt really expect to be competitive.
