Dave the $410 transformer offered by Ameritron is used in their AL1200/1500/82 amplifiers and delivers about 3600vdc no load and good for 1A+ full load. If you are looking for a lower voltage/current

I would think that Heyboer has something compatible for a lot less. I paid less than that for a dual 1800/2200VAc @ 1.4A CCS regular E-I last year. Look at a LK-500 internal xfmr, that will run about

Well the iron showed up this evening , well packaged and it tests out great on the variac , everything is as ordered if anything it is over built so I have no reservations recomending Heyboer to anyo

I had it done at Heyboer , it was a 2400v @800ma CCS custom wind , should have no prob at 2500 watts ICAS SSB service , it is going in to a 19in 4u rack mount shelf that I am building the amp around.

Brokerage is some arbitrary fee they charge for clearing customs , it is NOT charged by the USPS nor Canada post and from what I am reading online other carriers like DHL charge a small nominal amoun
