- Vic, I run a pair of grid-driven 813s, actually a number of pairs. See the "single band kilowatt" in ARRL handbooks from the 60's, may also be there in late `50s. Plus, the article's available to mem

- Single ended? Or double ended? (P-P or parallel) I vote for adding any circuit that can protect the tubes and their elements. A separate LED for each part of the protection is a must to me. -- Ron K
