- I own three Titan 425s of various vintages, all bought used. The differences between them are minor. The tubes can last a VERY long time if not abused, which mainly means keeping the grid current low

- I havent seen or heard of any failed caps in amps that new Bob. Ones in the mid to late 80's are due for a common sense PM and earlier ones are living on borrowed time. The 1986 LK-500ZC here had one
