I'm having problems driving a Kenwood TL922 amp with a TS850, and I'd appreciate any help you can offer. I had no problems driving the TL922 using a TS830, but with the 850 I'm getting a high SWR and

If your jumper between the rig and the amp is just a foot or two long, add a longer jumper, perhaps 15 to 20 feet of RG 8, and retune the amplifier input coils once again. See if you do not find that

I have a TL-922 and have driven it with a TS-850 with no problems. My cable is about 4 feet long. The tune-up procedure in the manual is unusual. Did you try it? Steve KT4FY _________________________
