- Felipe, I think those connectors (reverse-polarity SHV-BNC) are intended for RG6, which I believe may be a larger diameter than RG142 (but more flexible). I think RG6 Quad Shield is very high quality

- With a quality mil spec RG-58A there should be no problem as Ive hipotted to 5000V and have to agree with Jim. RG-58A has a stranded center conductor and is very flexible and Ive used for almost 25 y

- I think the 1900V rating applies under circumstances which are very different from using the cable with SHV connectors. The breakdown voltage for polyethylene is something around 20kV/mm. I have test
