Sounds like your exciter has a problem...Or it has a problem with the load (amplifier). Why not simply key the amplifier BEFORE you put the rig into transmit mode? 73 Jim W7RY _______________________

I have looked at the input network and completely removed it from the circuit. I made a direct connection from the relay to the heater blocking cap and it made no difference. 73, Jerry -- Original Me
