Well, you have at least one blown tube, the flash being from inside it. Remove the tube with the auroral glow and check things again. But first with both tubes removed check that you have -125VDC at

Thanks for the input Tony. I'm probably going to try to find those coils & replace them, based on your information. Any idea on where I can get them? I'm wondering if the amp was (ab)used on 11 meter
