- Thanks for the e-mail Sam - never thought of that but this time it seems to be something else also, the 50 ma Ip ''in stand by'' - as soon as I switch the amp on the meter reads 50 mA - never happene

- Hi again Osten, It could also be C8 or C9 (tying the grids to ground), I had one of these going bad, and that caused precisely what you are describing with one tube getting very hot and no output. Vy
