At first glance it sounds like a parasitic. Unwind one end of both suppressor coils and measure the resistors. Replace if more than 15% out of tolerance. The ZB is over 20 years old so a little PM is

Since when is the current 3-500ZG have a mu of 200? Looks to still be 130 from what Ive found at RFP and RFConcepts.The only higher ones Im aware of were the Amperex.Ive been very pleased with the RF

i picked up a LK-500ZB at a local hamfest. After getting it home the SN is only 2 after the one i already own. It works fine other than the tubes may be a little weak, with the exception of 15 meters
