- ? The 3K-A is the only Ham amplifier I know of with a 2500W CCS anode supply. Normal full throttle is c. 2k out. It is also a good performer on a 20a, 120v outlet -- provided one tunes the beast up

- What is the anode voltage in the CW and SSB positions? These numbers seem about right for a c. 2500VDC anode supply (SSB position), but would be somewhat low for a c. 3500 VDC anode supply. Mike, W4E

- FWIW The Bird element/sample section in the 4K-Ultra is a custom piece that Bird has not made or supported for some years now. As I recall the amplifier output connector was also part of the assembly
