Hi, Many discusstion about this question, thanks everyone! Many years ago , some AF power amplifier uesd 811A in push-pull, worked in Class B or Class AB2, I think we can use similar design in RF amp

I would be very dubious about the practicality of making the transformer. You're looking for a wideband transformer from about 13k ohm or so down to whatever, and that means a lot of primary inductan

Peter, Why would one want to go through all the trouble with sweep tubes on that when 10 of them can be ran grid driven? The Galaxy amateur amp was a good example of this. I have built them using as

10 of them can be ran grid driven? The Galaxy amateur amp was a good example of this. I have built them using as high as 10 in G-G in parallel. No neutralization was necessary, and they ran just fine

Peter, I don't think so, the output impendence should so high,if I the voltage of plate=3kv, current=0.8A, the output inpendence should be 1500ohm.I just finshed the 8xGU-50's amplifier, it used a tr

Peter, I agree with you, I just wouldn't go to the trouble of the particular circuit when one can do it an easier way if one wanted to use a sweep tube. However, as cheap as the surplus Russian tubes
